Who we are

The symbol adopted by the Saskatchewan Hospice Palliative Care Association represents the four seasons of the year as well as the four seasons of life, thereby creating a strong visual symbol of the continuity of life.  It also represents the pillars and objectives of the SHPCA - Networking, Education, Advocacy, and Research.

Empowering communities to recognize and support the values, needs and wishes of persons in all seasons of life.

The Saskatchewan Hospice Palliative Care Association advocates for hospice palliative care, including bereavement, through networking, education and research.

VISION

Advocating for timely access to quality palliative care for all citizens of Saskatchewan.

Membership in the Saskatchewan Hospice Palliative Care Association not only shows your commitment to the concept of palliative care in our province, but you automatically become a Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) Associate. Your membership provides you with voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting, reduced rate at the provincial and national conferences, educational offerings and networking opportunities. You also benefit from our monthly newsletter Seasons.
